Trichoderma viride

Trichoderma viride is a fungus found in forest and agricultural soils that thrives in moderate temperatures and neutral pH. It serves as a bio-control agent against root, knot, and postharvest pathogens, suppresses plant pathogens, promotes growth by supplying essential nutrients, aids in soil bioremediation, and enhances plant disease resistance.

Mode of Action :

  • Pathogen Disruption: Disrupts pathogen cell walls via mycoparasitism.
