Mode of Action :
Disrupts Molting Process: Azadirachtin interferes with the synthesis molting hormones (ecdysteroids), preventing proper growth and development of larvae and nymphs, ultimately leading to insect death.
Multifaceted Physiological Impact: Affects various physiological processes, including hormonal balance, enzymatic activity, and cellular processes, making it a potent and effective pesticide.
Disrupts Reproductive Physiology: Interferes with the production and release of reproductive hormones in insects, disrupting egg development and oviposition, causing a decline in insect populations.
Antifeedant Activity: Acts as an antifeedant, reducing insect feeding rates and the ingestion of plant tissues, leading to diminished nutrient intake, stunted growth, and impaired development.
Behavioral and Physiological Effects: Includes anti-feedant, repellent, oviposition deterrent, insect growth regulation, molting inhibition, and anti-fertility actions.
Mode of Action :
Broad-Spectrum Pest Control: Effective against a wide range of insect pests, including larvae, nymphs, and adults, suitable for integrated pest management.
Eco-Friendly and Low Toxicity: Derived from the neem tree, azadirachtin is a botanical insecticide with minimal risk to non-target organisms, including beneficial insects, birds, and mammals.
Reduces Resistance Development: It has complex mode of action, targeting multiple physiological processes in insects, reduces the likelihood of pests developing resistance, ensuring sustained efficacy.
Biodegradable and Safe for the Environment: Rapidly breaks down in the environment, leaving no residue on treated crops, aligning with sustainable agriculture practices and ensuring food safety.
Behavioral and Physiological Effects: Includes anti-feedant, repellent, oviposition deterrent, insect growth regulation, molting inhibition, and anti-fertility actions.
